What is a coach?
My definition of a coach is someone that is a skilled professional willing to help others succeed.
Why do you need a coach?
Your parents can't teach you everything in life because no one knows everything. So hiring a coach will help you learn, to be your cheerleader, to make you believe in yourself and can be there every step in your journey.
The last 6 months I have upped my game by having a little help with a business coach (Tommy Gentleman who I can highly recommend) and it's made me realise how much easier it is to have someone check in with you to help work out what you want to achieve and why. It's incredible how he has pointed things out that may have never passed my mind or he's simplified something that I never thought I'd be able to achieve.
Another example is for about 2 years I tried to loose weight by attending bootcamps, diets and much more and could never really loose weight. I then got a personal trainer and lost 3 stone.
My point is sometimes you do things without really knowing why you want to do them or how to do it properly. Which is why it's so important to have a coach so they can guide you to where you want to be.
Anyway, back to skincare you can try for 2 years on your own, trying different things, watching youtube videos and buying what they recommend (which by the way they probably have a different skin type to you), listening to your Nans old fashioned home made toothpaste face mask or god knows what else! Or you can get a skin coach who will guide you in the right direction and look at not just products but also your lifestyle because that can have a crazy effect on your skin.
Have you ever experienced a coach before? I'd love to hear about it.
